Enjoying a Glass of Wine at Mount Edgcumbe, Tunbridge Wells A view from the Window onto the Garden at the Mount Edgcumbe Tunbridge Wells Bar at the Mount Edgcumbe, Tunbridge Wells Pint of Fosters

The Mount Edgcumbe provides a warm, friendly ambiance with an authentic  4th century candle lit cave, hollowed out from the historic sandstone rock, which provides the hotel with its foundation.

The Bar menu features a broad range of international and traditional English  snacks.

The quaint bar, crafted out of weather-worn coastal oak offers a selection of varied libations from our collection of Rums to our locally brewed ales.   Being a Free House the Mount Edgcumbe offers  a Guest Ale to satisfy those Bitter drinkers.   The Mount Edgcumbe is featured in the CAMRA  “Gateway to Kent Pub Guide” and is said to be a popular place for diners and drinkers tucked away in the middle of the common.

During the day time, well behaved Children and dogs on leads are welcome in the Bar area and in the Garden.   (Dog bowls provided).

However in the evenings, the Bar is for those Mum’s and Dad’s who would like some time to themselves, experience some fine food whilst dining in the  Restaurant.

Don’t want to sit in the Bar... then sit out in our Garden which offers a beautiful view over the common to Tunbridge Wells, from another aspect the Garden overlooks the Edgcumbe Rocks protruding out of the ground in to the “Edgcumbe Bowl”.  Dine alfresco in the Garden from our selection of  Bar Meals & Specials

The garden is lit in the evening  for groups to mingle around.
