The Mount Edgcumbe accommodation consists of five rooms all en-suite; two singles,
one twin and two doubles. The rooms have recently been decorated and have a traditional,
country ambiance. Each room has a name that relates to The Mount Edgcumbe or Tunbridge
Wells history and they all have a story to tell. All the rooms are complete with
small luxuries, such as a television and video, mini hi-fi, hairdryer, trouser press,
tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar, all which are designed to make your
stay with us a comfortable and enjoyable one. Free wireless broadband access available.
The Queen Anne is our four-poster with an en-suite shower, washbasin, bidet and WC.
This room offers a romantic atmosphere and can easily be converted in to a generous
family suite. The Admiral Parry is our second double room with an en-suite shower,
bath, washbasin, bidet and WC. The room has beautiful views of The Common. Boasting
a comfortable environment, this room is ideal for a long stay. The Lady Sophia is
our twin room complete with en-suite shower, wash basin and WC. It is front facing
and particularly quiet.
Our single rooms, Andrew of Edgcumbe and The Wig Room, are both of a similar size
and include en-suite shower, washbasin, bidet and WC. They look out over The Common
giving the rooms a relaxing atmosphere.
Both rooms are ideal for short or long business trips.
Breakfast is served in our upstairs restaurant. We have on offer a choice of either
Full English, which is cooked to order, or a Continental breakfast, which is served
buffet style. Tea, coffee, chocolate and fruit juice are also available.
